Equine America Copper Plus

Equine America Copper Plus is a nutritional supplement that supports copper levels in your horse's blood. Copper, present in all body cells, helps with the absorption and utilization of iron for blood cell production. Copper is also necessary for various enzymes involved in vital processes, as well as for regulating normal hair pigmentation. Horses are highly tolerant of copper, but excessive supplementation can disrupt the absorption of zinc and iron. Copper deficiency can manifest as anemia, poor growth, hair depigmentation, weight loss and some bone disorders. The recommended dosage complies with EU limits for copper supplements.
