Good product

The leggings are doing their job. They fit well on the horse's leg and protect the ankle from mud. I have several pairs to change. So far I've had no problems with congested heat. A good product for my skin-sensitive horse. I can't say anything about the shelf life yet.

Very good leggings

I bought the size Small Pony (Shetland) for my 132 cm pony. Although this fits perfectly on the hind legs, it is only too long on the front legs. I improvised a bit, I folded down the top Velcro and that's how it worked. It would be nice if you could get even smaller sizes, as there are usually no decent leggings for such small ponies. However, I can only praise this company, because for the price, what you get is TOP! I mainly bought the leggings for the back because my bangs twists their leg during longer steps and makes them limp. The leggings fit so well that this can no longer happen. The legs get nice and warm under the leggings, but not hot! Perfect for my pony, as she has problems with the cold anyway. All in all, I am happy to have found these leggings because, as I said, there is usually nothing decent for such small ponies.

Perfect for the paddock

The Koppelgaiters are perfect for protecting horses' legs during paddock walks. Even in summer, my horse never sweated or had pressure points with it! Can also withstand a lot The leggings are currently no longer available and have not yet found a satisfactory alternative.

Are these waterproof? So if they are really in the mud, the neoprene and legs underneath will stay dry? And can they stay around all day / night (only while driving) or only a maximum of x number of hours?

The neoprene is waterproof, but the edges of the protector do not completely exclude water. It is not advisable to leave horses with the protectors day and night. Because the neoprene is waterproof, the skin underneath cannot breathe enough for 24/7 use. How many hours a horse can stand without protectors without problems varies per horse.
