The ultimate support for sand in the intestines
Psyllium seed is 100% natural and supports the removal of sand by the Plantago Ovata. These seeds are rich in fiber and mucilage. Psyllium seed activates healthy intestinal function and passage, which naturally supports the excretion of sand.

When to give Psyllium seed?
Is your horse regularly in the paddock? Horses can unknowingly ingest sand by eating short grass or hay in the paddock, but they can also consciously eat sand out of boredom.
- For sand in the intestines
- If your horse is in a pasture with short grass (sandy soil) or in the paddock
- For good intestinal function
Give Psyllium Seed at least 1-2 times a year to regularly remove sand.

How does Psyllium Seed work?
The mucilage in Plantago Ovata seeds (Psyllium Seed) is activated as soon as it comes into contact with moisture. This causes the sand in the intestines to adhere to the Psyllium Seed, making the intestinal contents larger and softer. The seeds with attached sand are then excreted with the manure.

Seeds or fiber?
Which is better, fiber or psyllium seeds? Psyllium seeds contain a higher percentage of polyunsaturated fatty acids, essential amino acids, and antioxidants than fiber. These substances support the resistance and health of horses. Another advantage is that when the seeds break down in the large intestine, substances are released that support intestinal health.
