The supplement for important body salts
Electrolyte Mix is a balanced mix of electrolytes for replenishing important body salts. Horses lose electrolytes daily through sweating, urine, and feces. During heavy exertion and especially in warm weather, horses can lose additional electrolytes. It is especially important to replenish this loss of important body salts in these situations. A horse's body cannot retain moisture without electrolytes. Because horses do not store electrolytes, unused electrolytes are excreted in urine. Therefore, always give Electrolyte Mix before and after sweating. This way, the electrolyte deficiency is quickly and effectively replenished!

Electrolytes or table salt for your horse?
Table salt is also often fed to horses that have sweated a lot. Table salt only contains sodium and chloride. All electrolytes influence each other. Therefore, administering a specific electrolyte also affects the absorption of other electrolytes. Therefore, we recommend giving the horse the correct balance of electrolytes to prevent uneven proportions.

What is in Electrolyte Mix?
Sodium: For the proper functioning of nerve cells and muscle cells.
Whey powder: Contains a lot of easily digestible protein and lysine, which is important for maintaining healthy muscles.
Bicarbonate: Supports the body in buffering built-up lactic acid before it can cause muscle damage.
Phosphate (phosphorus): Part of the molecule in which energy is stored and released in the body.
Potassium: For maintaining cell pressure and influences nerve and muscle function together with sodium.
Calcium: Supports heart rhythm, blood clotting, muscle contraction and other metabolic processes.
Magnesium: Maintains blood pressure and, like phosphorus, plays an important role in energy metabolism.

Feeding advice
Dissolve the Electrolyte Mix in warm water (15 g in at least 1 liter of water) or mix with (concentrated) food. The recommended period of use: at least 1-3 days, but can be repeated as needed. Water should always be available. Check that your horse is drinking enough. ElektrolytenMix is suitable for horses of all ages and can be used with pregnant mares.
You will find a measuring scoop in the packaging. One level measuring scoop contains 15 g of ElektrolytenMix.
