Mud Defender Lotion is mild and soothes affected skin. This lotion contains herbs, oils, and tinctures, including Aloe Vera, Echinacea, and coconut oil. The lotion can be used independently or for optimal results alongside the Mud Defender supplement.

Ingredients: Aloe Vera gel, Coconut oil, Propolis oil and tincture, Echinacea, Licorice, Myrrh Canadian Turmeric, Calendula tinctures, Calendula & Hypericum oil, Tea Tree and Rosemary essential oils.

Usage:
Mud Defender Lotion can be used on any part of the body.
Use at the first sign of sore, damaged skin:
Gently brush off the mud once it has dried, or wash the area with cold water and gently pat dry.
Apply Mud Defender lotion to clean, dry skin. Massage in well. Leave to work well by leaving a thin layer of lotion on the skin.
When the skin is covered with scabs, apply the lotion to the scabs and massage in well.
When the scabs soften, try to remove them carefully and apply more lotion.
The lotion should be applied to clean, dry legs before the horse is stabled or taken outside for grazing.

Mud Defender Lotion can be safely applied to damaged, painful, scabby skin and should not sting when applied. The lotion is not designed to be used as a barrier cream, but contains oil that should help prevent water penetration. As with any new product, we recommend patch testing prior to use if your horse has sensitive skin.
