Pavo Eplus: prevent stiff muscles in your horse

Pavo Eplus contains the natural CellProtect antioxidants, which help neutralize waste products in the muscles. It also contains vitamin C and vitamin E. Many muscle supplements contain a synthetic vitamin E variant, which comes from the oil industry. However, Pavo Eplus uses a natural vitamin E from plant-based materials, which is better absorbed by horses. Research has shown that sport horses have a high need for vitamin E to help remove waste products from their muscles. This can amount to as much as 2000 units per day, a level so high that it cannot be supplemented with concentrated feed alone.

Selenium in Pavo Eplus

In addition, the trace element selenium has also been added, because years of roughage analysis that Pavo carries out throughout Europe shows that the level of this micro-mineral in roughage is very low. Horses often get too little of it. Selenium and vitamin E together stimulate and activate the same key enzyme that neutralizes free radicals.
