Product description
HayGuard
Protection when forage quality varies
- Supports digestion and helps maintain a healthy blood sugar level and respiratory system
- Contains ingredients that help reduce the negative effects of lower-quality forage
HayGuard contains a smart combination of naturally effective ingredients that help reduce the negative effects of lower-quality forage. HayGuard provides support in situations such as the presence of molds (mycotoxins), fluctuating sugar levels, and dust in forage. It improves digestion, supports gut flora, helps maintain balanced blood sugar levels, and supports the respiratory system.
When to use HayGuard?
Good quality forage is the foundation of a horse’s diet and is extremely important. We always advise against feeding forage that is of very poor quality, for example due to mold formation, excessively high sugar levels, or high dust content. However, invisible mold spores and mycotoxins may still be present in forage. You may also have little or no control over the forage quality at your stable. In those situations, HayGuard provides the support to help your horse cope.
- When molds are present in forage (note: never feed your horse visibly moldy forage!)
- When forage is dusty
- When forage has fluctuating sugar levels
Feeding advice
For optimal support, feed HayGuard for at least 4–6 weeks. Do not feed more HayGuard than recommended due to the bentonite content. HayGuard is suitable for horses of all ages. HayGuard is not suitable for pregnant mares. A measuring scoop is included in the packaging. One full scoop contains 20 g of HayGuard.
