The roughage mix contains a wide variety of grass species with a low fructan content and is rich in ingredients with a high protein content. It stimulates saliva production by increasing chewing activity. The roughage mix has a soft texture, short fibers, and contains added protein-rich ingredients such as lupine flakes and linseed flakes. Protein & Fiber is suitable for horses with a high protein requirement, such as sport horses, growing young horses, and horses that struggle to maintain weight. Protein & Fiber contains healthy omega-3 fatty acids from linseed oil and easily digestible fibers for proper bowel function. Protein & Fiber is free from added vitamins and minerals.
