Unique Stomatex® Material
Originally developed for human athletes, Stomatex® provides four-way stretch, ideal for use around mobile joints, and an outstanding ability to keep the skin dry. It is commonly used in heat acclimatization suits, wheelchair padding, special wetsuits, and sports injury support bandages. The material mimics the way a leaf ‘breathes,’ keeping the horse’s leg cool and maintaining an ideal skin temperature for extended periods. It works by efficiently moving trapped vapor molecules from beneath the fabric through tiny dome-shaped chambers with a small pore in the center, which also gives it its unique appearance.

Automotive-Grade Cushioning Spacer Mesh
This mesh is strategically placed over the inside of the cannon bone for extra protection. The spacer fabric has an additional jersey layer on the inside of the boot to create an even softer lining against the horse’s leg. Ideal as a ‘cushion’ and comfortable to wear, the spacer fabric also allows heat and moisture to pass through easily, removing sweat and warmth from the skin.
