Anti-Schurft 75 ml is used to combat (mange) mites. The first signs of a (mange) mite infection are skin redness and severe itching. The skin swells, and open wounds and crusts appear around the eyes and ears. These wounds can become infected, causing significant pain. A (mange) mite infection is highly contagious. It develops easily when the animal’s immune system is weakened. High temperatures, poor ventilation, unhygienic housing and nutritional deficiencies also increase the risk of a (mange) mite infection.

Active substance: Ivermectin 0.02%

Do not use on:

• sick or weakened animals, or during pregnancy or lactation

• other animals, especially dog breeds such as collies, shelties and bobtails

• young animals still nursing

• animals with hypersensitivity to the active substance

Directions for use
Instructions and dosage: Protect the head of the animal while spraying. Spray from a distance of 30 cm, from back to front. Spray against the direction of hair growth so the liquid reaches the skin.
• Adult guinea pigs: 2–3 sprays (±2–3 ml)
• Young guinea pigs (4–9 weeks) and rats: 1 spray (±1 ml)
• Rabbits older than 4 weeks: 2 sprays (±2 ml) per kg bodyweight
Repeat treatment after 1 week.
Treat affected areas on the head using a soaked cotton pad. Prevent the product from entering the mouth, eyes or nose.
Tips: Separate sick animals and treat all rodents present to prevent reinfestation. Remove bedding and clean the enclosure thoroughly with plenty of water and soap. Ensure proper nutrition, hygiene and housing to prevent recurrence.
