The standard dosage of 50–100 g per day is typically used as preventive support, for example, once every 2 months.

A higher dosage (around 100 g per 100 kg body weight) can be given for 7–14 days when additional digestive support is needed, such as after prolonged periods on sandy soil or when sand accumulation in the intestines is suspected.
