Tech Stirrups products combine technology and innovation, perfectly tailored to the needs of riders in various disciplines. Each product is designed down to the smallest detail to provide the best riding experience and the optimal chance of success. Safety is paramount: all products are carefully crafted and hand-assembled.
Why Tech Stirrups?
- Reduce danger during unforeseen situations.
- Meet the diverse demands of different equestrian disciplines.
- Reduce fatigue in the rider’s ankles and knees.
Venice Safety Design
The Venice Safety Design is based on a unique mechanism that automatically releases the rider’s foot when necessary. The built-in spring ensures that the movable part remains closed during use and opens when pressure is applied by the foot. The system then automatically closes again, without any protruding parts that could hinder or injure the rider or horse.
- The spring continues to perform optimally even when exposed to mud or sand.
- Easy to clean with water.
- Can be lubricated with any type of grease.

The inspiration for our safety stirrups comes from research into various rider falls.
What was analyzed?
- The average duration of a fall: approximately 1.5 seconds.
- The position of the rider and the rider’s foot during a fall.
- The most common types of falls.
Categories of (Safety) Stirrups
Dressage
Within dressage, two safety models (Venice Dressage Plus, Venice Dressage Sloped) and two classic models (Capri Plus, Capri) are available. The pad features square-shaped teeth with rounded tips, providing freedom, stability, and an optimal connection with the horse. Specifically designed for performance, precision, and control. The innovative design of the stirrup elevates dressage to a higher level. Available size: Adult.

Jumping & Cross-Country
In the Jumping & Cross-Country category, three safety models (Venice Plus Evo, Venice Sloped Evo, Venice Flat Evo) and two classic models (Siena Plus, Siena) are available. The pad features triangular teeth that offer exceptional stability, grip, and control, even under challenging conditions. Designed to improve water drainage and prevent mud build-up. Available size: Adult.

Medium
The Medium category consists of one safety model (Venice Sloped M) and is specially designed for riders with smaller shoe sizes. The pad offers the same jumping and cross-country grip for maximum stability and comfort. Available size: Medium.
Children
For children, a dedicated safety stirrup has been designed: the Venice Children.
This safety stirrup is suitable for dressage, jumping, and cross-country and is designed for young riders to learn safely and with confidence. Lightweight construction ensures perfect balance and stability. Available size: Children.
Stirrup Details
- Stirrup eye: designed to support the movement of the stirrup leathers while riding.
- Rounded design: prevents saddle damage.
- Body balance: the inclined eye angle promotes correct leg alignment.
- Foot stopper: facilitates easy foot release in case of a fall and ensures comfort while riding.
- Extra space: prevents contact between riding boots and the movable part.
- Lubrication holes: for maintaining the shock-absorbing system 2–3 times per year (on applicable models).

Shock-Absorbing System
Certain models are equipped with a special shock-absorbing system. This system uses four absorbers positioned at the corners of the footrest to distribute pressure evenly. This reduces fatigue in the ankles and knees while enhancing comfort and rider performance.
Compatible models: Venice Dressage Plus, Capri Plus, Venice Plus Evo, Siena Plus.

Replaceable Pads
All stirrups are equipped with replaceable pads. To ensure maximum safety while riding, make sure the pads remain in optimal condition. For the best performance and longer lifespan, both pad and boot sole should always be kept clean. Replace a pad in time to avoid dangerous situations.
Correct Use of Safety Stirrups
- The TS logo should always face forward.
- The movable part must always face outward.
- The letters L (left) and R (right) must correspond to the correct foot, with the letter facing backward and the movable part facing outward.

Size Guide
The correct stirrup size prevents the foot from getting stuck or slipping too far through, which could cause dangerous situations. For the different models, follow these size guidelines:
- Adult: EU size 38 or larger.
- Medium: Between EU size 35.5 & EU size 37.5.
- Children: EU size 35 or smaller.
How to measure the correct size:
The distance between the top of the boot and the inside top of the stirrup should be approximately 5–6 cm. On the sides, there should be about 0.5–1 cm of space between the sole and the inside of the stirrup.
