Outer fabric and lining

The outer fabric is a 600D ripstop in 100% polyester with a PU coating (Breathable 5000 g/m²/24h & Waterproof 5000). That way the rug keeps rain out while moisture from the inside can move outwards at the same time. The ripstop weave keeps any damage local instead of letting it run on. On the inside there is a smooth taffeta lining that glides over the coat.

Without filling

This turnout rug has no filling, so it keeps rain and wind off without adding warmth. That makes it suitable for spring and autumn, and for horses that already stay at a good temperature on their own.

Fastening and fit

At the front the rug closes with two easy clips. Cross surcingles and two elastic leg straps keep it in place out in the field and the tail cord keeps the back of the rug stable in the wind.

Cleaning and care

Let mud dry first and brush it off afterwards, instead of scrubbing straight away. Wash the rug without fabric softener and treat it after a while with a proofing product for turnout rugs, so the water repellent finish stays up to standard.
