Insect repellent

Suitable for use on humans, horses and dogs;
Repels mosquitoes, biting flies and also ticks;
24-hour protection against biting flies and mosquitoes;

Use is permitted exclusively as a repellent against:

• (tropical) mosquitoes and biting flies in humans (riders);
• mosquitoes and flies (including stable flies) in horses not intended for consumption;
• mosquitoes and ticks in dogs.

The instructions for use must be followed.

Do not use on children under 3 years of age;

When applying to horses, apply the product only before riding;

Apply the product to horses or dogs only indoors (in a ventilated area) or outdoors on a hard surface. This is to prevent soil contamination;

Rinsing horses and dogs treated with this product is only permitted in indoor washing areas or at least on a hard surface. This is to prevent soil contamination.

The product is intended for non-professional use only.

Additional information:
Tedax® is a repellent against (biting) insects registered in the Netherlands and is not an insecticide. Insects are repelled, but not killed. Tedax temporarily alters the scent patterns of the skin and coat, making them less attractive to biting insects. Protection starts immediately after application.

Tedax is unique in that this repellent is not only suitable for use on horses, but is also suitable for use on dogs or on yourself! In addition, Tedax does not smell unpleasant, but has a pleasant fresh scent. Tedax protects for up to 24 hours against mosquitoes, biting flies and stable flies and for up to 4 hours against ticks.

Tedax works on the basis of the substance icaridin, also known as Saltidin®. This substance is a safer alternative to DEET because icaridin does not affect plastics, causes less irritation and is safe to use, while being at least as effective as DEET in repelling insects, even at lower dosages.

Directions for use:
Hold the spray can 10–15 cm from the skin during application while keeping the nozzle away from the face. Treat the skin with a slow sweeping motion. For application to the head: spray a small amount into the palm of the hand first and then spread over the head and neck. Protection starts immediately after application. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Due to health risks, apply the product no more than once per day on humans, horses and dogs.
Note: factors such as temperature, humidity and sweating may affect effectiveness.
