Training a horse is all about relaxation and trust. Some horses, especially young or sensitive ones, need time to develop a stable contact with the hand. When a horse pulls back behind the bit or avoids contact, a softer, friendlier mouthpiece can help build trust in the hand. The TRUST Inno Sense Eggbutt Flexi Soft was developed with exactly that goal: a low-threshold, comfortable introduction to riding with contact.

The mouthpiece – Flexi Soft
The Flexi Soft mouthpiece is unjointed. It is made from high-quality synthetic material with a flexible metal core. This core allows the bit to hold its shape while the mouthpiece remains exceptionally flexible. The combination of flexibility and thickness creates a soft, even pressure distribution across the tongue and bars. Because the mouthpiece is unjointed, it creates calm in the mouth and a clear, stable action without any joints. This mouthpiece is particularly suitable for:

• Young horses in training
• Horses that struggle to accept a stable contact
• Horses that easily pull back behind the bit / behind the vertical
• Sensitive horses / hot-blooded horses

For very strong horses, or horses that need more pressure, a firmer mouthpiece from the range is often a better fit.

The cheekpiece – Eggbutt
The eggbutt cheekpiece provides stability and consistency. The fixed rings don't move freely through the mouthpiece, so the bit lies quietly and stably in the mouth. This supports:

• A constant contact
• Direct and clear rein aids
• Extra confidence for sensitive horses

The combination of a flexible mouthpiece with a stable cheekpiece makes this bit particularly suitable for horses that benefit from clarity without unrest.

The material – Inno Sense
Inno Sense is a synthetic material that has been carefully developed and extensively tested. It is free of harmful substances and contains no plasticizers. Compared to traditional metal/steel mouthpieces, Inno Sense feels significantly softer and warmer. Many sensitive horses, horses with a sensitive mouth, or horses with a preference for nonmetal bits respond very positively to it. The material supports relaxation and acceptance, which is essential in the foundation of any training. This creates more length, allowing the horse to more easily seek contact with the hand and creating more calm in the connection.

Suitability
The TRUST Flexi Soft Eggbutt – Inno Sense is particularly suitable for:

• Young horses
• Horses with a sensitive mouth
• Horses that don't readily accept metal/steel bits
• Horses that need to build trust in the contact
• Sensitive horses / hot-blooded horses

The bit offers a friendly and accessible way of communicating and supports a relaxed, stable foundation.

For competitions under FEI rules, always check the most current regulations. Synthetic mouthpieces are not permitted in all disciplines at international level.
