Sometimes the solution isn't a different bit, but a small adjustment. A horse that reacts sensitively to pressure, develops minor rubbing, or could temporarily use extra softness often benefits from subtle fine-tuning. With TRUST Sealtex Bit Guards, you can easily adjust the bit's action to your horse's individual needs, without changing its basic function. TRUST Sealtex is designed to soften the bit and, if desired, add a few millimetres of thickness. By wrapping the mouthpiece (partially or fully), a more comfortable layer is created that helps to:

• Prevent rubbing
• Soften pressure distribution
• Build extra trust in sensitive horses through a warmer feel

Because the wrap can be cut to the desired length, you decide how much support is needed, allowing you to fine-tune the bit's action precisely to what your horse needs at that moment. You can also play with the mouthpiece's effect: for example, fully wrapping a single-jointed bit creates a more stable, "locked" feel.

Sealtex bit guards are made from 100% latex. This material is:

• Not harmful to the horse
• Completely tasteless
• Free of plasticizers
• Residue-free (leaves no trace on the bit)

The material also doesn't absorb water, so it doesn't get heavier during riding and retains its function and elasticity over the long term, even with intensive use or wet conditions. Thanks to its high elasticity, the wrap creates a self-adhesive effect when stretched. The bandage sticks to itself without needing extra fasteners. The bandages are 4 cm wide and 60 cm long, and are supplied as a set of 2.

TRUST Sealtex Bit Guards are permitted under FEI regulations for dressage, jumping, and eventing.
