Some horses mainly need clarity — not through more action, but through calm, stability, and consistent aids. Especially young horses, or horses still finding their way in the contact, can benefit greatly from a bit that offers steering support without creating unrest in the mouth.

The TRUST Inno Sense D-Ring Snaffle – Flexi Soft combines a gentle, flexible mouthpiece with the supportive action of a D-ring cheekpiece, creating a soft, stable connection that helps horse and rider build more trust and harmony in the contact together.

The mouthpiece – Flexi Soft
The Flexi Soft mouthpiece is unjointed and made from high-quality synthetic material with a flexible metal core. This allows the mouthpiece to hold its shape while feeling soft and comfortable in the mouth.

The unjointed construction distributes pressure evenly across the tongue and supports a stable contact. Because the mouthpiece has no joints, many horses experience a calm and consistent action.

The Flexi Soft mouthpiece is often chosen for:

• Young horses in training
• Sensitive horses
• Horses that struggle with contact
• Horses that benefit from a calm mouth action

The standard version has a thickness of 20 mm. A Slim variant of 15 mm is also available for horses with less room in the mouth.

The cheekpiece – D-Ring
The D-ring cheekpiece is recognisable by its characteristic D-shaped rings on either side of the mouthpiece. These fixed side pieces provide extra stability and support steering aids. This provides:

• More stability in the mouth
• Clear support for steering
• Less movement of the mouthpiece
• A direct and consistent connection with the hand

The shape of the cheekpiece supports the steering aids, making it easier for many horses to find direction and boundaries. Young horses in particular, or horses that can use a bit of extra steering support, often respond well to this.

The material – Inno Sense
Inno Sense material is developed with comfort and acceptance as its starting point. The synthetic material feels softer than traditional metal bits and is easily accepted by many horses.

The flexible metal core ensures safety and shape retention, while the mouthpiece keeps its friendly character. This supports relaxation and a supple connection with the hand. Horses with a sensitive mouth in particular often accept the soft Inno Sense material very well, making relaxation and trust in the contact easier to develop.

Suitability
The TRUST Inno Sense D-Ring Snaffle – Flexi Soft is a good choice for horses that need softness in the mouth combined with extra clarity in steering. The combination of a gentle mouthpiece and stable side pieces makes this bit particularly suitable for horses still building trust in the contact.

It is a deliberate choice for:

• Young horses
• Sensitive horses
• Horses that struggle with contact
• Horses that benefit from clear steering aids
• Combinations working on trust, relaxation, and harmony in the contact

For competitions under FEI rules, always check the most current regulations. Synthetic mouthpieces are not permitted in all disciplines at international level.
