What is the Field Relief Fly Rug made of?
The rug is made of different panels designed to allow freedom of movement in high-motion areas while protecting areas at risk of rubbing.

A quick-dry, high-stretch panel lines the top of the neck to ensure a snug fit while preventing rubbing. It also eliminates the need for an inner lining in the fly mesh, providing a more breathable option with less material.

This neck panel continues down to the wither relief panel, designed with no seams over the sensitive and prominent wither area. Our unique shoulder relief shaping, made with extra material, allows your horse’s shoulder to move freely without restriction.

The mesh of the rug is designed to be tight enough to keep biting insects out, yet open enough to keep the horse cool in warmer temperatures. Finally, the material provides sun protection, offering 77% UVA and 90% UVB protection.
