Product Description
For Stallions
A balanced diet that maintains optimal body condition and overall health is essential for achieving maximum breeding performance. In addition, targeted nutritional support has been shown to benefit fertility parameters in both fertile and sub-fertile stallions.
Total Fertility combines scientifically selected nutrients in a highly palatable linseed-based formula to support optimal fertility and breeding performance.
Benefits for Stallions
Amino Acids
- L-Carnitine supports energy production within sperm cells, helping to improve sperm motility.
- L-Arginine contributes to energy production, sperm motility and overall semen quality.
Antioxidants
Sperm cells have a naturally high fat content, making them particularly susceptible to oxidative stress.
The combination of:
- natural Vitamin E;
- Vitamin C;
- beetroot;
- grape extract,
helps reduce oxidative damage while maintaining the structural integrity and motility of sperm cells.
Trace Elements
- Zinc supports testosterone production, spermatogenesis and sperm motility.
- Copper contributes to libido and semen quality.
- Selenium supports normal testicular function and also acts as a powerful antioxidant.
Omega-3 Fatty Acids
Omega-3 fatty acids help maintain the integrity of sperm cell membranes and support improved semen quality and sperm motility.
Prebiotics and Probiotics
Help support:
- a healthy digestive system;
- optimal nutrient absorption;
- the immune system of hard-working breeding stallions.
For Mares
A balanced diet, combined with a gradual increase in nutritional intake prior to covering, supports optimal body condition, conception rates and a healthy pregnancy.
Targeted nutrients can also help support fertility in both fertile and sub-fertile mares.
Benefits for Mares
Amino Acids
- L-Carnitine supports healthy follicular development.
- L-Arginine supports the development of a healthy placenta.
Antioxidants
Vitamin E, Vitamin C, beetroot and grape extract help to:
- reduce oxidative stress;
- support fertility;
- strengthen the mare's natural uterine defence mechanisms.
The natural RRR form of Vitamin E offers excellent bioavailability and is particularly beneficial when access to fresh grazing is limited.
Trace Elements
Following weaning and before breeding, forage-based diets may not always provide sufficient trace minerals.
Zinc, Copper and Selenium contribute to:
- optimal fertility;
- reproductive function;
- antioxidant protection.
Omega-3 Fatty Acids
Help support:
- follicular development;
- embryo quality;
- the mare's natural anti-inflammatory processes following covering;
- overall wellbeing.
Prebiotics and Probiotics
Help support:
- a healthy gut microbiome;
- optimal nutrient absorption;
- the immune system of broodmares;
- the transfer of immunity to foals through colostrum.
Mycosorb®
Mycosorb® is a mycotoxin binder that helps reduce the negative effects of mycotoxins on fertility.
