Since a squeaky heel is unfortunately difficult to make disappear and there is very little to be found for it, we ordered this under the guise of; it doesn't help it don't hurt it. The first 2 weeks we didn't have the impression that it really did anything, we took a before photo to compare and now in the third week it is shrinking considerably. It says you have to apply it with a cloth, but in our experience, applying it directly and rubbing it out with a cloth gives a better result.
