The snaffle bit is a standard jaw piece. The rings cannot move freely, so that the help comes through more directly and the bit lies relatively still in the mouth. In addition, the bit prevents the lips from getting jammed, so that bit rings are not necessary with this jaw piece. The cherry roller mouthpiece consists of separate rolls. These rollers discourage the horse from grasping the bit. It can also increase tongue activity, producing more saliva and making the jaws more relaxed. This bit is suitable for horses that are hard in the mouth, grip the bit or have difficulty concentrating. The Sweet Iron bits are made of steel and have a recognizable blue color. Sweet Iron develops surface rust through contact with (air) moisture that tastes sweet and stimulates the horse's saliva production in a natural way. This will cause the horse to foam more, which ensures better acceptance of the bit. This rusting process (oxidation) changes the blue color of the TRUST bits into brown-grey.
