The Velder Horsewear Essentials Summer Rug is a smooth summer rug that closes over the coat and gives a little extra warmth, without your horse starting to sweat underneath it.

Smooth fabric in the stable

The rug is made of a smooth woven polyester. That fabric glides along with the coat instead of roughing it up, which is pleasant for horses that are stabled or on their way to a competition. On cooler summer days this summer rug adds just that bit of cover.

Fastening and fit

The chest fastening is a T-lock that opens and closes easily. Cross surcingles and two elastic leg straps keep the rug stable on the body and the tail cord keeps the back of the rug in place.

Cleaning and care

Brush the rug out after use and let it dry in the open air. Check over the surcingles and the leg straps regularly, that way the fit stays as you set it up.

Features

Smooth woven 100% polyester that glides along with the coat

T-lock at the chest for easy fitting and removal

Cross surcingles for a stable fit under the belly

Two elastic leg straps that move along while lying down or rolling

Tail cord that keeps the back of the rug stable

Technical specifications

Outer fabric: smooth woven 100% polyester

Filling: none

Waterproof: no

Chest fastening: T-lock

Belly fastening: cross surcingles

Leg straps: two, elastic

Tail cord: yes

Neck cover: not possible

Use: stable, transport and cooler summer days

Collection: Velder Horsewear Essentials

The Velder Horsewear Essentials Summer Rug is a quiet basic rug that lasts the whole season.

Velder Horsewear: two lines, one promise

The Velder Horsewear Essentials collection is practical, strong and reliable.
