velder-horsewear-essentials-fleece-rug-comfy-bordeaux
Velder Horsewear Essentials Fleece Rug Comfy Bordeaux

A sweaty horse that is allowed to dry off slowly needs little, apart from a layer that lets moisture through. The Velder Horsewear Essentials Fleece Rug Comfy is a fleece rug for exactly that moment: after work, during transport or on a fresh summer day in the stable. The cord around the binding gives a neat, finished edge that stays in shape.

Material and use

The fleece is made of 100% polyester and lets air and moisture through instead of holding on to them. That way the coat dries evenly without your horse getting cold. This fleece rug is light enough to use under a turnout rug and sturdy enough to wear on its own.

Fastening and fit

The chest fastening is a T-lock that you close in one movement. Cross surcingles under the belly and two elastic leg straps keep the rug stable, even when your horse rolls. The tail cord keeps the back of the rug in place.

Cleaning and care

Beat and brush the rug out first, that way most of the hair stays in the stable instead of in the washing machine. Then let the fleece dry in the open air and use no fabric softener, so the fibre stays pleasantly breathable.

Features

Fleece made of 100% polyester that lets moisture through instead of holding it

T-lock at the chest that opens and closes quickly

Cross surcingles for a stable fit under the belly

Two elastic leg straps that move with your horse

Tail cord that keeps the back of the rug stable

Cord around the binding for a firm, finished edge

Technical specifications

Outer fabric: fleece, 100% polyester

Filling: none

Waterproof: no

Chest fastening: T-lock

Belly fastening: cross surcingles

Leg straps: two, elastic

Tail cord: yes

Neck cover: not possible

Finish: cord around the binding

Use: drying off after work, transport, cooler summer days

Collection: Velder Horsewear Essentials

With the Velder Horsewear Essentials Fleece Rug Comfy you have a constant in the rug cupboard, all year round.

Velder Horsewear: two lines, one promise

The Velder Horsewear Essentials collection is practical, strong and reliable.
