This product is still effective, but the response may take a little longer. Upon improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half the dose indicated on the packaging. When determining the dosage, carefully monitor the animal's reaction. A higher dose may be necessary initially; this product can be safely administered at double the dose. If there is improvement, gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dose. Some animals may experience a brief worsening or other severe reaction at the start of treatment. In the event of a severe increase, halve the dosage or stop temporarily and then gradually increase the dosage. Administer this product directly into the mouth or mouth using a plastic syringe, diluted with a little water if necessary.
